Kayoko Akaogi

Kayoko was born and raised in Japan. After graduating from college in Tokyo, she taught 3rd through 5th grade at an Elementary School for a few years. She came to the U.S. with her family and after her 4th & youngest child started 1st grade, she thought of going back to teaching again. In 2003 Kayoko started working at Mariposa Montessori School. This is her 5th year at Mariposa. Kayoko has three teens plus a pre-teen and she is a soccer mom.
