Mona Maan
This is Mona's sixth year with Mariposa Montessori School. Mona and her husband Naeem have been married for 25 years and have been blessed with three children, Zeshaan 23, Aalia, 21 and Irfaan 17. Mona was born in Uganda and was 6 years old when her parents moved back to Pakistan. She completed her BA in Economics and then taught at a local Primary school for a couple of years. Mona attended University of Santa Cruz Extension where she studied Early Childhood Development and received her teaching certificate and went on to complete the A.M.S. Montessori training.
Mona enjoys teaching and taking care of small children. She enjoys spending time with her family too and in her spare time she enjoys cooking and sewing.
